Family pics – October 2017

We just had a family maternity photoshoot that has me reminiscing our previous session…that I never blogged about, because you know…life and too many hobbies. So here it is…photos of my beautiful family taken October 2017, only 8 months late, DOH!

Photos for me have always been something that I cherish and love to look back on. Photos are freezing time and capturing too many precious moments that can easily be forgotten as the days, months and years go by. That’s why I force my family to take them…hubs included, HA! He’s definitely not as easy to bribe like the boys but he loves me and puts up with it, so major brownie points for daddy bear.

This photo session was super fun! It was actually our first time taking professional photos in an outdoor setting so I was super geeked up. The boys were a bit distracted by the cars that drove by but they gave us plenty of good shots anyway. I feel like that is one of the beauties of taking photos; capturing the boys in true character and letting them show that in pictures. They may not always look at the camera or want to smile and cooperate but that is exactly who they are at that age and exactly what I want to remember and capture. #LetThemBeLittle as I always say!

Oh and lets talk about that beautiful setting! I am a sucker for beautiful views like that and was in absolute awe to be surrounded by my family AND such a breathtaking relaxing views! It really is up to you to see the beauty in everyday things and thats exactly what I felt. We lived within walking distance to these cotton fields and I sure did enjoy the view every single time we drove by. I miss it now that we’ve moved but I have all these beautiful photos to remind me and take me back! Win win!

So here’s the rest of the photos that capture our boys – Sebastian at 3 years old and Alexander at 2 years old. Sebastian being a charismatic three year old who wants to be just like daddy in every sense. Full of energy and ready to be the life of the party. Alexander, who is the sweetest green eyed cacheton. He is quite the charmer and knows exactly how to stately get out of trouble. All while still in love with my high school sweetheart! Cheesy, I know… awwww! HA!

So, happy memory keeping to everyone, take pics and treasure them! I’m currently looking forward to see the pics from our maternity photo session! EEEK, can’t wait!!

Love,

-Mama Bear Mimi
